Tired of Pushy, Aggressive DJs yet?

Being engaged and planning your Wedding is exciting, but repeatedly getting unsolicited emails, texts and calls and Facebook Requests from Pushy DJ Companies takes all the fun out of it! It’s possible that those aggressive DJs could turn your Wedding into a Cookie Cutter Reception – playing the same old songs and saying the same stuff that they do at Every Wedding, without considering Your likes or dislikes. The Good News is… We’re Different.

Best of The Knot Every Year! Sound Investment DJs 203-770-2595

Best of The Knot Every Year! No one in the area has more than us.

In a recent Wedding Magazine Survey, 70% of Brides said that they felt that the Entertainment for their special day was the most important part of their Reception. After your meal is done, what do you and your guests plan on doing for 3 hours if there’s no music? At Sound Investment, we want you to call us at 203-770-2595 to make an appointment and seriously take a look at why we’re better and what we are offer – a side by side comparison to other companies that you may be considering.

    The One-Time Shot…

Let’s face it, Your Wedding Reception is a one-time shot, the ONE DAY that you have planned for since you got engaged. You owe it to yourself, your family and your guests to rely on Sound Investment to make all of your hard work pay off. Your Wedding Reception is no place for inexperienced amateurs whose side hustle is to “Play DJ” on the weekend. At Sound Investment, this is our “Calling”, our Full-Time Profession, not something we do “on the side“.

Remember, the DJ is the Quarterback of your Wedding “Team”. Some DJs need to play Group Dances (if you want it or not), stand on Speakers and turn your Reception into a Circus because to them it is really about “them” and not about “you”. We’re Different. Our Warm and Friendly, “Down-to Earth” style will allow You to Relax and your Guests to feel Welcome because We’ve Got This! Since our early days, Brides and Grooms have counted on Sound Investment’s Seasoned Veteran DJs for their Wedding Reception and they have not been disappointed. At Sound Investment, You’re a Friend First, then a Valued Customer! Our past Wedding Couples still keep in touch with us to this day.

    Before Your Wedding…

Being successful Wedding DJs means that we need to know many things: Protocol, Tradition, Music Knowledge, Psychology, Public Speaking and the ability to “read” the crowd. But we also need to be a little bit of “Wedding Coordinator” too. Before your Wedding, it is our responsibility to:

    • Have several planning meetings with you
    • Do a Site Survey of an unfamiliar Venue, if neccessary
    • Provide Liability Insurance to Venue before arrival
    • Have EVERY SONG on your MUSIC LIST
    • Attend Ceremony Rehearsal if possible
    • Arrive 60-90 minutes early for Set up
    • Test all equipment prior to Guest Arrivals
    • Have music playing as Guests arrive, even if it’s early
    • Be dressed formal, in a Tuxedo

    During Your Wedding…

    • Follow your reception plans and keep them on track
    • Line up and introduce You and your Bridal Party
    • Instruct the Best Man & Maid of Honor for the Toast
    • Establish a rapport with your guests
    • Coordinate Introductions, First Dance and Dinner with the Catering Facility, Photographer and Videographer
    • Get people on the dance floor in between courses
    • Keep our finger on the “Pulse” of your Wedding so that it never gets boring.
    • Keep the music volume at a resonable level during Dinner
    • Alert the Photographer/Videographer if plans unexpectedly change
    • Handle the Cake Cutting
    • Introduce Parent Dances
    • Announce any Birthdays or Anniversaries you may provide
    • Tastefully handle the Garter/Bouquet Toss, if you’re doing it
