What We Do and Why We're Different
Most people think that we just show up with a sound system and play music. There’s a lot more to it than that. Being successful Wedding DJs means that we need to know many things: Protocol, Tradition, Music Knowledge, Psychology, Public Speaking and the ability to “read” the crowd. But we also need to be a little bit of “Wedding Coordinator” too. Our Responsibilities are:
Before Your Wedding...
- Have Several Planning Meetings
- Site Survey of an Unfamiliar Venu
- Provide Liability Insurance to Venue
- Have All of your Music
- Attend the Ceremony Rehearsal
- Arrive 1 to 2 hours Early
- Test all Equipment
- Have Music Playing as Guests Arrive
- Formally Dressed
During Your Wedding...
- Follow your Plans, Keep things on track
- Line up, Introduce You and your Bridal Party
- Instruct the Best Man & Maid of Honor for the Toast
- Establish a rapport with your guests
- Coordinate Introductions, First Dance and Dinner with the Caterer and Vendors
- Get people on the dance floor in between courses
- Keep our finger on the “Pulse” of your Wedding so that it never gets boring
- Keep the music volume at a resonable level during Dinner
- Alert the Photographer/Videographer if plans unexpectedly change
- Handle the Cake Cutting
- Introduce Parent Dances
- Announce any Birthdays or Anniversaries you may provide
- Tastefully handle the Garter/Bouquet Toss, if you’re doing it
Don't Forget Ceremony Music

If your planning on getting Married at your Reception Location be sure to ask about our Ceremony Sound Systems. These portable, battery-powered sound systems can be used for both small intimate Ceremonies or larger ones. We’ve used these on Beaches, in Meadows and in areas where there’s no power and they work Great!
